A lovely Jiaqing period floral dish, decorated with good-quality bright enamels. Possibly a birthday dish, as there is a bat (good fortune) and peach (longevity) in the dish center.

Grey stoneware, covered with a white glaze, painted with a dragon in black/brown. Diameter 11,5 cm. Jin Dynasty (1115-1234). Condition: firing crack in the body (back side). Otherwise very good. With expected age wear.

Made of silk. Two panels with very fine embroidery of a dragon and a phoenix, with lots of gold thread. The other panels with simple flower patterns. Some of them with gilt brass bells at the bottom. Condition: expected age wear and discoloring, but overall in good condition. Dimensions ca 100x100 cm. Ca. late 19th century.

Made of silk, decorated with intricately embroidered panels with flower baskets, butterflies and Buddhist symbols. DESCRIPTION: A large, handsome Burmese wood sculpture of a male Nat, or nature spirit, dressed in traditional attire and engaged in a joyful dance. Such images were first carved from wood, then laboriously decorated with applications of red lacquer then gold gilt. Dating from the early 20th C., it has been mounted on a rod with square base. Japanese print by sosaku-hanga artist Haku Maki (1924-2000), titled "Work 74-7". It shows the profile of a tree with many long, twisting branches in a beautiful navy blue color against a metallic silver background. The outlines of the tree are embossed, giving it more depth and contrast. Numbered 83/153 and signed in pencil, with Maki's red signature stamp in the corner. Framed. Large Thai bronze Buddha head with serene face and downcast almond eyes, curled headdress, flaming usnisa, and elongated ears.
