A mukuzuke or serving dish of raised barbed lotus form with a moulded ribbed cavetto decorated in underglaze blue with gilt outlined enamels dating to circa 1740-70. Antique Japanese lacquer manju (netsuke toggle to be worn on obi), made in a round form of lacquered wood and intricately inlaid with tiny flakes of gold and shell. The inside is lacquered with a dense nishiji lacquer (made of tiny flecks of gold suspended in lacquer). Somada School.

Antique Japanese small ko tansu for personal use. Made of kiri (paulownia) wood with iron hardware. Three large drawers and a small safe box in the lower right hand corner. Inside the safe box are two small drawers. Iron hardware includes round lock plates, warabite shaped drawer pulls, and corner bracing.

A celadon colored Chinese Peking Glass wine cup. It is molded glass, cut/grinded with a short carved foot. Chinese glass was largely used to imitate more precious materials such as white jade, lapis lazuli and other valuable minerals.

Chinese Silver Smiling Boy, Ca. 1900, 10 1/2" high overall, 2 1/2" high x 1" wide, 5/8" deep for boy, with open mouth smiling and pig tail hair do, holding Peach with two(2) hands, both side same raised design with Silver chain, and two(2) Bells dangling with chain from his feet. It is a very charming and cute Chinese Silver ornament. The condition is good, tarnished silver.

Chinese Silver Boy Bell Pendant, Ca. 1900, 2" high, 1" wide, 5/8" deep, this boy has very loud bell inside him, both side has same raised design, his mouth open and laughing, holding Peach with 2 hands, with Chinese style Pig Tail hair do. He is very happy boy and the condition is tarnished silver.

This remarkable tea bowl is from the kilns of Yoshida Shuen (1940-1987)—an apprentice of Miwa Kyusetsu (1910-2012) who was awarded the status of Living National Treasure in 1983. It features a warm crackled glazing with a few small portions of the foot of the tea bowl exposed, displaying the somewhat reddish coarse clay that this piece is fashioned from.
