Well carved from a single piece of boxwood, good details and fine patina. H 20 x L 13 x W 9 cm ca.
Condition: minor repairs/filled and minor losses as well as a few thin drying cracks.

$1,850.00 An antique Japanese Katana Tansu (sword storage chest) made of Kiri (Paulownia) wood. All original hand forged iron hardware including the Warabite style handles. Side handles for ease of carrying. Large drawer used to store the Katana while the medium drawer stored the Wakizashi. The small drawer stored the sharpening and cleaning supplies for the weapons.
