Antique Chinese jade amulet of a figure riding a fu-lion. Carved in relief with a background of swirling clouds. The figure appears to be a nobleman or scholar due to his hat and ruyi scepter but is possibly a Taoist deity. The stone is pierced near the top for the attachment of a cord. A striking orange color with red striations, it is beautifully worn and polished with age. Provenance: from a prominent Los Angeles estate.

Antique Chinese carved Jade signature seal. Rectangular cong form carved of jade-green stone with orange striations and black flecks. Intricately carved on all sides. Antique Chinese bronze incense burner with two compartments and standing on 3 small claw feet. Lotus flower petals blooms outward like eaves on a lantern. The body is incised with scrolling vines and leaves and the lid is pierced with a cloud pattern. A finial handle is in the form of a lotus bud.

Antique Chinese fan painting of a dramatic group of various rock formations. The painting is modeled after a painting by Jin Nong (1687–1773) from his Fruits & Flora series. The writing on the upper left hand side of the fan is a poem:

弁山有葉氏大小玲瓏石，
雙井黃家有爛溪，
溪々中石皆爲艺林所重。
余漫意寫之，
落々然如挹高人面目也。

Which translates as: On Bianshan Mountain are Ye's linglongs...

They are made of a copper alloy finely chiseled with scrolls and stylized flowers on a nanako background, alternately there are shakudo plates (an alloy of copper and gold, shibuichi or silvered sentoku. They are excessively heavy and of the best quality. The size is much larger than for a normal door handle (double in size) which implies very high and wide doors. Antique Chinese porcelain water coupe in the form of a pine branch. Whimsically sculpted with a gibbon hanging from it's handle. Glazed a lovely mauve color on the outside and a white glaze inside. Underside has Wang Bing Rong mark in a raised cartouche. Wang Bing Rong (1840-1900) specialized in carved decoration on porcelain and was active during the Tongzhi to Gunagxu Period.

Antique Japanese long table made out of a cashier's gate. Turned on it's side, this gate would have defined the area around the cashier's work space in a store. Now made into an attractive and useful piece of modern furniture. The slats of the gate can be seen on the sides as well as through the glass top which was added later. With six compartments for storage or display. Made of hinoki (Japanese cypress) wood and with it's original patina.
