$2,000.00 Antique Chinese jade amulet of a figure riding a fu-lion. Carved in relief with a background of swirling clouds. The figure appears to be a nobleman or scholar due to his hat and ruyi scepter but is possibly a Taoist deity. The stone is pierced near the top for the attachment of a cord. A striking orange color with red striations, it is beautifully worn and polished with age. Provenance: from a prominent Los Angeles estate.

Beautiful aged patina and natural wear over its 100 years of providing luck and happiness. With its raised left paw, it is beckoning customers, friends, family, guests and good luck for its owner. Often displayed in a prominent place in a store or restaurant, they are a lucky mascot known to attract clients and patrons into the business establishment.

Raku pottery is traditionally used in Japanese tea ceremony since as early as the 16th century. Size 2.34in. (6cm.) high; 5.07in. (13cm.) diameter; 365g weight. Condition There are old repairs at the rim with gold and red lacquer. Please see the photos for details. No cracks.

Sale Pending Antique Chinese carved Jade signature seal. Rectangular cong form carved of jade-green stone with orange striations and black flecks. Intricately carved on all sides. One side, a sage or scholar with long staff. On another side, a flower vase on a stand with a bird on a branch. Another side is carved with a blossoming branch. And one side has a design of a bat.

$2,000.00 Antique Chinese porcelain water coupe in the form of a pine branch. Whimsically sculpted with a gibbon hanging from it's handle. Glazed a lovely mauve color on the outside and a white glaze inside. Underside has Wang Bing Rong mark in a raised cartouche. Wang Bing Rong (1840-1900) specialized in carved decoration on porcelain and was active during the Tongzhi to Gunagxu Period.

SOLD Antique Japanese long table made out of a cashier's gate. Turned on it's side, this gate would have defined the area around the cashier's work space in a store. Now made into an attractive and useful piece of modern furniture. The slats of the gate can be seen on the sides as well as through the glass top which was added later. With six compartments for storage or display. Made of hinoki (Japanese cypress) wood and with it's original patina.

Sale Pending A vintage Japanese 2 section Kamo Kimono Tansu chest made entirely of Kirinoki (Paulownia). All original hardware with maker's name engraved into the main lock plate. Upper section features two large hinged doors behind which are 8 kimono trays for storing textiles. The lower section has 3 drawers for additional spacious storage. Below the bottom drawer lies a false floor cover that hides a secret compartment where important papers and valuables were kept.
