A large and very rare beaker shaped Chinese porcelain vase painted with scenes in cartouches delicately enamelled in "mandarin" palette, and reserved on elaborate gilt scroll ground. This item was made in China for export to Europe late in the reign of the Qianlong emperor (1736-1795).

Condition - this vase has been broken in a number of places and has had extensive professional old restoration. .

42.5 cm (16.7 inches) high; 23cm (9 inches) diameter at rim. Weight 2.8kg (6.17lb).

A very rare and unusual parrot form bronze (copper tin alloy) incense burner made in China in the late Ming Dynasty, probably circa 1620 to 1640, during either the Tianqi or Chongzhen reigns. This item is partially coated with old black lacquer.

Condition: the cover is missing; and there are losses to the tip of the tail.

Striking antique Siam mid to late 19th. century Ayutthaya Kampheng head of Buddha Sakyamuni (The Awakened One). His face with serene expression, closed eyes, aquiline nose, smiling lips and elongated earlobes with earrings.

The head is hollow inside and mounted on a wood base. It has a weight of almost 6 kg. No repairs, good condition.
