A Chinese silver bowl embossed with a continuous decoration of chrysanthemums around the body. A stunning box covered entirely in mother of pearl upon which is the crescent moon in lead under maki-e gold florals. Inside Rimpa style dear rest in lead and gold maki-e on a ground of red-tinted Nashiji. The box is in excellent condition, likely dating from the mid 19th century. It measures 22 x 24.5 x 5 cm (8-1/2 x 9-1/2 x 2 inches).

A heavy 18th Century double walled cup - the outer wall carved with reticulated decoration and painted with small famille rose flowers. Wonderful large Japanese carved wooden figure of Diakuku, one of the Lucky Gods, he stands on two bales of rice and he holds a large sack on his back, lacquered wood, sweet expression, lacquered wood, this piece is 17th century. Size: 36" high x 21" wide x 19" deep.

Gilt bronze figure of Kubera (Kambala) also known as Dhanapati "Lord of Riches", seated on mythical beast with mongoose in one hand, his elaborate crown and round belly suggest great wealth, Nepalese, early/mid 20th century. Size: 7 1/2" high x 6 1/4" wide x 4" deep.

Sashiko stitched fabric. Tsutsugaki dyed cloth. Indigo background with red and white design. Two horizontal bands wrap around bottom of coat. A rare scene to find, rigid lines and the lavish use of gold are typical of the first half of the Edo era. The screen features a colorful brocade border with vermilion lacquer frame and has been fully remounted without re-painting.
