Early 20th century Chinese hand made moss green pottery storage jar featuring an unusual cut out in the lid for easy lifting. The jar interior is glazed dark brown with the rim having a clear glaze. The green glaze is thick and rich. The lid has 3 small chips on the exterior unglazed part of the rim that can be studied in the photos, otherwise in excellent condition. This is a very special jar measuring 6 inches, 7 inches diameter.

A very attractive QING blue and white porcelain plate with underglaze blue fish center medallion surrounded by 4 additional fish. Base has double circle and 4 character mark in center. Condition is good with two tiny inconsequential fritts and one small chip on rim. Size 5" diameter H. 3/4"

A thickly potted high footed porcelain dish decorated with 'famille rose' enamels depicting three Manchurian Cranes in flight above waves and framed with a simplified 'key fret' border. Inside the foot, on the base, is the Minyao six character iron red seal mark of the Tongzhi emperor. Large old Chinese rosewood stand on 5 small feet. Well constructed, it is very sturdy and will hold a lot of weight. There appears to be a repair on the inner bottom, but when we tried to move the piece in question, it would not budge. Therefore there are absolutely no condition issues with this stand. Measures 3.25" (8.9 cm) high, and about 8.5" (21.6 cm) diameter (see 2nd photo).

Two nicely matched Edo period mixed metal menuki. Each with decoration of a duck in water. Some difference in the detailing of the water and perhaps different duck species (though one could explain the lack of a crest and color on one because it was the female of a pair of mandarin wood ducks.) For the price, they would work quite well together on a tsuka (sword hilt.) Longer one, about 1 1/2 inches. Good condition.
