An interesting modern, abstract koro. The compressed sphere with elliptical, off centered opening. A warm, brown temmoku glaze with darker brown glaze dripping from the top and stopping in controlled fashion above a well - continuing to form the unglazed foot in ogee fashion. Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Tea Jar or Tea Caddy, later part of 1700's, small size 3 1/4" high, 3 1/4" wide-widest middle part, 1 1/4" diameter-top rim, with underglaze blue large floral decoration between garden rocks, plus Dragon flies flying on the other side. The condition is good, no damage or restoration except firing mark about 1/2" long on the lower part of caddy.

A simple, small but stout iron tsuba. The Myochin line of metal workers were armor makers who also produced tsuba. The simple decoration upper-right here could be a flower head or a snowflake.
