The citron fruit may be given as a religious offering in Buddhist temples. According to tradition, Buddha prefers the "fingers" of the fruit to be in a position where they resemble a closed rather than open hand, as closed hands symbolize to Buddha the act of prayer. Size: H. 3.7cm. W. 2cm. Condition: No repairs, chips or cracks.

Very good. Slight toning and professionally reinforced left margin. - A rare appearance of a horse in a Hasui print.

A spotted deer with high horns was an ancient ceramic toy. Nicely squeezed and mold in shape and obtained the artistic interest. Some similar pieces were found in Chinese documentation. Date: Song Dynasty, 11th/12th century. Height: 8.5cm. Condition: Broken in neck and re-glued. Some abrasions and debris in the glaze.

good used condition. There is some staining (water marks?)on silk areas, embroidered velvet panels in very good condition with the exception of one tear about 3" that can be easily repaired. Wear at hem border ribbon.
