A wonderfull pair of decorative pottery figures of seated Dignitaries or Officials, dating to Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644.

Elderly men with beards, seated on chairs, with their right arms to the belt and the left to their knees. They are dressed in large dark blue and torqouis colored robes, with a dark blue hats on their heads.

Height: c. 21 cm.

Condition: A superb pair of pottery figures with wear for age and type.

A large beautiful and rare pair of colorfully glazed peacocks which were Vietnamese temple birds. The glaze is still vibrant and the sculpturing is very finely executed. Age: Mid 19th century. Size: H. 56cm - 54.2cm. W. 36cm - 36cm. Condition: Very good. Some very minor chips and hairline crack on one wing. See photos.

A Ming statue of Quanyin glazed in cream, green and ochre glazes (san-ts'ai). The Guanyin is seated on a rock formation with lotus flowers above a rectangular pedestal. Formerly she was flanked by two disciples - there is one remaining but missing and the other is missing its head and hands...

A large rare blue & white Meiping vase with various scenes and Buddhist symbols. Date middle Qing. Size: H. 43cm. W. 24cm. Condition: No repairs. A chip on the rim and a kiln crease on the body. See last two photos.Can be easily repaired.

This is one of the earliest and rarest original types of vases made in Vietnam. It has a rich chocolate brown glaze with beautiful drippings going down to the base. Very beautiful Sawankhalok Celadon bowl with iridescent glaze. 14/15th Century. Foot and part of inside (middle ring only) unglazed, typical for stacked ware fired in kilns during this period to prevent bowls from sticking to each other. Condition perfect, no hairlines, chips nor repairs whatsoever. 19 cm. diameter, height 5.5 cm. Collector's item!

Large Sawankhalok covered box from 14th-16th century with ribbed lid and base & blues and browns in under-glaze with clear design. There is visible damage to the inside rim of base and to the lid.
