He is sometimes called the Japanese Picasso because of his prolific multi media creative work. He was part of the sasuka-hanga movement and the mingei, folk art, movement. A color illustration of this print can be found on page 111, plate 338, of the 2003 catalogue produced by the Kiyoshi Saito Museum of Art, Yanaizu.
