This is silk beautiful yuzen-dye and Embroidery fukusa textile of the Edo period to Meiji Era(1850-1880). This is yuzen-dye which was drawn by hand and dyed. It has few thin stains. However, it is not conspicuous. It does not have a damage and is in a very good state. size:66cm x 76cm (26" x 29.9")

This is Japanese Edo era Beautiful silk of the patchwork yosegire beni-itajime jyuban. It is comprised of four kinds of itajime-dye and eight kinds of katazome-dye and Safflower dyeing . It is all silk of the Edo era. It has a slight damage to a sleeve and a collar. However, it is in a state very good generally. I recommend it to you collection. size:145cm x 123cm (57.1" x 48.4")

This is dangawari katazome & tsutsugaki cotton katsugi kimono of the Edo era(1770-1799). The 18th century. The form size of the collar of this katsugi kimono has a characteristic of the 18th century. It is a very beautiful crane and a lucky design of the tortoises.It is a characteristic of tsutsugaki of the Edo era that the ear of the tortoise is expressed like a dragon. There is a thin stain. Antique Japanese rare ceremonial court hat, made of green asa (hemp) with an open weave meant for summer use, wonderful shape reminiscent of a cicada, woven with gold scrolling vine design and Tokugawa Family mon (crests). Underside has silk padding. Wonderful and rare. Meiji Period (1868-1912). Size: 19" long x 5" wide x 5" high

This is Edo yosegire Patchwork itajime katazome chirimen-silk kimono in Edo period(1603-1868). This is very beautiful yosegire kimono. In the skirt part of the lining, it is cotton and there is damage. There is a little, thin stain. However, it is not remarkable. I recommend this for your collection. size:134cm x 125cm(52.8" x 49.2")

This is rinzu silk fukusa textile in Edo period(1603-1867). It is an elegant design with good history of the bamboo and bamboo shoots. All embroideries are the hands. There is no stain. There is one very little small hole. However, it is very good. I recommend it for your collection. size:47cm x 48cm (18.5" x 18.9")

Japanese cotton obi from mid to late Showa period, 1980s(?). This obi was sold from the Mitsukoshi Department Store (2 logos attached at the corner). 100 percent cotton, new condition with some color loss. 12 1/4" wide x 141" long; it weighs approx. 1.2 pounds.

This is a very elegant and high quality Japanese silk obi from Nishijin, Kyoto. The dimensions of the obi are 12 1/4" wide and 160 3/4" (13'4 3/4") long. About two-thirds of the front (104" long) is woven with gold. There are 2 full designs of an ox-cart with pine branches in the center area – only one of them is shown in the first photo – the other one is on the other side...

This is a beautiful Japanese obi. The style of obi is maru obi which is the most formal obi in recent years. It is made out of one long fabric that is folded in half. The dimensions of the obi are 12 3/4" wide and 13'3" (159") long. It is a large obi but very soft and light for its size – it weighs 3.5 pounds. The colors are all gentle including the gold threads. The design includes flowers (chrysanthemums and others), bamboo and a palace wagon over the multi layers of fans...

This is a Japanese silk obi with a painting of men transporting lumber down the river. It is a scene that became obsolete as new technologies, such as trains, trucks and the creations of dams, developed. It is hand painted on silk with an artist’s signature and seal. We will bring more photos once the obi is flattened from the Nagoya style obi – currently, this obi is being worked on (hand sewn) by a professional.
