Japanese early 20th century bronze OKIMONO of a peacock by TSUDA SHINOBU. (1875-1946) Signed DAIJU on back of piece. Comes with original artist's box. The OKIMONO measures 5 1/4" tall, 10" long and is 3" wide.

A small collection of six clothing buttons made of different metal alloys with gilding and silver inlays. Two are showing a dragon, two pieces with a face and two buttons with decorative motifs. Condition: few traces of usage and wear, Need a professional cleaning. Dimension: diameter: 1.9 cm to 2.3 cm.

This is a beautiful pair of mixed metal decorated bronze vases. They are highly detailed and stand just 5 inches. Both vases are signed Miyabe Atsuyoshi. One vase has a lightly bent rim otherwise the condition of the pair is excellent.

This is an exquisite decorated iron Koro signed Nihonkoku Kyoto ni sumu Komai sei. The condition is excellent and actually better than the images show. A glue/cloth residue was left on the underside and side of the base.This is easy to remove.The piece stands 4 1/8 inches tall and is 3 1/8 inches wide. The delicate lid appears to be silver.

Antique Japanese iron tetsubin. The body is wide and short with a small water spout, its sides flared out and tapered back in at the center with flattened base. The bronze lid features a cherry blossom with decorative ball finial and tall bronze handle. The piece is in exceptional condition. Dates from Tiasho period c1920.

A vintage Japanese white metal incenser, in the form of the mythical creature Kirin, who has chimerical features of a dragon mixed with a horse. It is well-cast with fierce detailing. A section of its backside acts as a lid.

Antique Japanese iron tetsubin, or tea kettle, with a bell shaped body that flutes out towards the rounded base, a tall spout, archaic designs along the rim with a lid bearing the artist's signature. The handle is "mokko" shaped referring to the Japanese Quince fruit.

Antique pair of Japanese shokudai (candle stands), made of bronze. Beautiful simple design with faceted stem and small chrysanthemum shaped detail where stick meets base. Each stand has a little hook and circular candle guard.

Antique Japanese pair of shokudai (candle sticks). Made of copper repousse and overlaid with silver, these candle sticks are decorated with a intricate chrysanthemum and scrolling vine motif. The base and top of each of the candle sticks flares out and is lobed in a chysanthemum form with scalloped edges.

Antique Japanese Buddhist Temple lantern made of gilt copper with a wooden interior armature and iron handle. This six sided lantern is decorated all over with ornate pierced karakusa, scrolling arabesque filigree. Both top and bottom of the lantern have six trapezoidal friezes, each with a three dimensional medallion in it's center depicting alternating crests of blossoms and Buddhist symbols. Japanese late 19th or early 20th century bronze OKIMONO of a ram done in the style of Imperial Court artist, ISHIKAWA KOUMEI or MITSUAKI. The ram is done in fine detail. The OKIMONO is signed on the bottom by the artist, KOUMEI. The OKIMONO measures 10 1/4" wide, 7" deep and 7 1/8" tall.
