Large Imari style hard porcelain dish. Landscape and flower decoration in underglaze grand feu cobalt blue and low-fired irond red enamels, gold details. Japanese work from the end of the 17th century, Arita kiln. Below are traces of typical porcelain shards marks. Good condition, no restoration. Some wear from use visible on photos. Diameter: 36cm.

White and blue porcelain incense burner. The boat is led by a young boy. The decoration of birds, flowers and waves is painted in cobalt blue hight-fired under glassure. No mark, Japanese Kyushu kilns work probably from Mikawachi (Hirado kilns, late 19th century.Meiji. Length.375mm. Good condition, some slight fired defects. An identical model but without the boatman (missing or broken?) is housed at the Los Angeles Museum (L.A.C.M.A).

Two platinum spikes erupt from the black glazed surface of this Kurinuki vase hollowed out from a black of black clay by Masatomo Toi, the first Kurinuki vase he has created (we think he is on to something). It is 21 cm tall, 25 x 23 cm (10 x 9 inches including the spikes. It comes with a signed wooden placard, directly from the artist.
