A fabulous little Tsubo excavated from the sea of embers on the floor of an Anagama kiln by Murakoshi Takuma enclosed in the original signed wooden box. An interesting, rare and early Arita crackle-glazed bottle, Japan, early to mid 17th century, heavily potted, with silvery bronze rim mount and attractive kintsugi gold lacquer repairs to the foot rim. 32 cms.
