Quirky strands of bronze beads and Kushan charm in the shape of a Hindu Trishula (trident). I acquired these with a group of Kanishka coins that were found in the same place, circa 100CE. Large strand 25cm/9.8in and small strand 9.5cm/3.8in (the holes were too small to fit on the same cord as the larger one). Weight total: 40 grams. A silver box with hinged lid, standing on four ball feet the base with Arabic inscription. An oblong silver tray on four feet and a fine small dish. Condition: some traces of usage, box not closing completely. $3,500.00 Vase in the shape of a fish. Iron inlaid with gold and silver. Turquoise stone detail and red eye, either glass or ruby. On the reverse, a tie was soldered to the pewter later to be able to suspend it and thus make it a wall vase. But it seems to me that the object was simply made to be placed on a table. The silver inlays are very numerous, but oxidized in black, they have become almost invisible, however they are clearly distinguishable on the enlargements...

$4,500.00 The body of the ewer seems in embossed rather than cast bronze because the walls are very thin, however the neck and the handle are in cast bronze and very thick. The decor is incised with a character fighting a snake, details are inlaid in gold. 3 fantastic animals are arranged on the sides on either side of the ewer, they are treated in high relief and seem to be in solid bronze and to be one with the body of ewer because we do not see any welding or rivets...

SOLD This is a very finely cast Tibetan bronze fragment dating to the 17th century or possibly earlier. It depicts a wrathful deity, possibly Vajrabhairava, complete with finely modeled skull crown/tiara to the wrathful head. Please have a look at the photos and feel free to ask any questions. the piece measures 2.5" in height (6.25cm), not including the custom base. Exceptionally well cast with very fine detail. Not easy to find these days

sold Incense burner in copper alloy (cast bronze and embossed and cut brass). Oriental work from the 19th century or before. Probably Ottoman but maybe Syrian? The hinge was consolidated by a riveted piece of metal and one of the three feet was replaced as one of the photos shows? The three legs are fixed to the base by a system of finely executed 'butterfly' nuts. The assembly is slightly twisted as can be seen in the photos. Height: 25cm Diameter: 20cm
