A rare, finely decorated, late Ming twin-handled bronze vase which still retains traces its original gilding. The vase carries the six character reign mark of the Xuande emperor (1426-1435) but this item was made later during the 16th or early 17th Century - possibly during the reign of the Wanli emperor (1573-1619). For a similar vase - Sotheby's, New Bond St, London (sale LO5212)- Lot 492...

The glass snuff bottle shows the four sea-dragons swimming in the sea. This probably represent the four seas.Each of the dragon have four claws which represents royalty but not imperial. The colour of the snuff bottle is of dark orange colour. The base has a honorific Qianlong mark to the base. Cir. late 19th century, likely to be dated to the Guangxu (1875-1908) period.

A very finely painted fencai/famille rose enamelled teapot.The poem on the reverse side reads - "fang sheng chi jia; xiang qin xiu pi" which can be translated - "Fragrance (of tea)formed between teeth and cheeks; the scent (of the tea) deeply affects heart and spleen (refreshes one deeply)". It is signed "nie xing she zou" - "made by Nie Xing Sheng" (b.1909; d.1981) - active 1916-1981. The base mark reads Jiang Xi Mei Shu Ci Chang - "Jiangxi Art Porcelain Factory"...

Rare 18th Century Chinese Helmet with Original Dragon Embroidery Intact. Height: 17 inches, 43 cm.

A colorful profusion of precious objects and coins adorn this beautiful cloisonne box against a black background, the lid has a finial in the form of a foo dog making this a truly unique treasure. Dated to the late 19th Century, this box is in really good condition with very minor loss of enamel from the underside but does not go through, very difficult to see and does not detract from its initial overall value. This is a two colour wufu and coin motif peking glass snuff bottle. The colour of the bat is in light brown colour and the coin is green colour. Wufu means the five fortune. The chinese coin in general means "Tong Bao" or treasure. On both side of the coin, it is inscribed with the character "Tian Xia Tai Ping" which means peace to the world. Cir. late 19th century.

Broken shards of these crab plates have been found on the Island in Cebu in the Philippines, and are determined to be of the Zhangzhou type (formerly called Swatow wares). This lovely crab dish is from the Spanish porcelain trade that was exported from China to South East Asia. I am not absolutely certain of its exact age, but can guarantee that it is at least 150 years old. Measuring 6.75" in diameter, it is in perfect antique condition, no chips, hairlines or repair.

In intriguing and natural shape, the brush pot was preserved preciously by generations and have obtained the charming honey-brown patina that the ancient wood piece would only get.

Antique Chinese brocade with dragons in roundels between auspicious symbols and an open-worked white jade plaque, dating from the 19th century, assembled to a diary with mechanical pencil. In very good metal material, the ancient bronze figure was coated with darken patina and reflected with retrospective sheen.
He was preserved in perfect condition only with some casting holes on the back.
