The interior of box, including the lid and the base are in a light turquoise enamel. The top depicts 2 people in a landscape scene. Very good condition, no chips, damage or restorations. Chinese late Qing dynasty baitong (white brass), also called paktong, opium smoking pipe with nicely incised decoration featuring two beauties on a veranda on half of the base and calligraphy on the other half. Marked under the circular hinged top of the opium holder. The original tweezer and brush tool are included. Late 19th to early 20th century. 10 3/4” high to the tip of the pipe stem, base about 2 5/8” long x 1 1/4" wide x 2 1/2” high (to flat, circular lid)...

$145.00 Pair Chinese Green glazed on pottery Foo dog Joss Stick Holders, Ca. 1920, 5 1/4" high, 1 1/2" wide-bottom, 2 3/4" deep-base, 4 1/4" maximum depth, very nice small size, they usually used in the temples on the Altar. Some of the green glaze pieces are chipped off which is very typical for this type of green glaze on pottery pieces, no major damages. Still retained Export Wax Seal on top of the head.
