Description: A traditional Chinese religious sculpture was in a image of Louhan and was preserved with original paints and gold leaf. Date: 14th-15th Century. Material: Wood. Height: 44cm Width: 26cm Depth: 19cm Condition: Overall in good condition except some wear at the lower part of the torso. Stand, part of left palm and religious weapon holding in the right hand were lost .

A rare collector's item depicting favoured subject during Chieng Hua (1465-1487) and Chia Ching (1522-1566) Reigns, i.e. 4 Fish identified as Qingyu (a fresh water Mullet), Baiyu (type of Carp), Lianyu (Bream) and Quiyu (Mandarin Fish). According to LiYiping, combination of these 4 Fish symbolises "unsullied and incorruptible"...

Waisted cylindrical form scholar's huanghuali wood brush pot with a slightly raised flat base and three low rounded feet. The feet, base and rim are finished with a finely executed narrow raised band. The honey-browm wood has a varied grain pattern displaying several distinctive guilian “ghost face” whorl patterns. 18th century or earlier. Measures 6”H x 5 5/8” diameter. A very attractive, well patinated bronze censer on lotus form stand with ruyi - shaped feet. On the base is the six character seal mark of the Xuande Emperor but this item was made later, during the 17th Century - late Ming or early Qing...

A rare 17th Century (probably late Ming) carving of the Hehe Erxian - the Twin Immortals of Union and Harmony - in typical pose, one holding a basket and the other holding its 'contents' - a bat a symbol of happiness. Condition - good - there are natural cracks and flaws to the stone but no damages or losses. 6.5 inches (16.5cm) long; 4.5 inches (11.5cm) high.
