A large and heavy European shape serving dish decorated in underglaze blue with deer, bamboo and pine trees in a river landscape. This item was made in China for export, circa 1750, during the reign of the Qianlong emperor (1736-1795). Condition - there is a well restored rim chip with associated 5.5cm (2.2inch) hairline (please view enlargements 5 & 6) and there are minor glaze imperfections...

A large blue and white plate, the well with peony and other flowers within a thin quatrefoil line, the border with keyfret and flowers. Early Qianlong, c 1740. Diameter "10¼/ 26,5 cm. Condition: a hairline, rim frits and a chip (cf. pictures).

A fine and rare Qianlong period porcelain bowl decorated with a rich blue glaze accentuated with gold highlights. Featuring two different scenes of people in a landscape setting, the transparent enamel glazes feel smooth as silk. The bowl was repaired in the 1800's with 3 metal staples and there are 2 rim chips at the break. The repair is excellent, the bowl is solid, and it still retains a nice ring when tapped. A large Chinese 20th-century celadon glazed porcelain vase with a baluster body, rising to a trumpet neck, flanked by a dragon handles with rings.

The body is richly adorned with an incised in a low relief lotus pattern.

This fine-quality porcelain dish was made during the 18th century, most likely during the Qianlong reign (1736 - 1795). It has a particularly attractive underglaze blue pattern featuring a pagoda upon a hill overlooking a river on which sail four boats, together with hills, mountains, rocks, trees and flower blossoms. The wide border is decorated with an elaborate floral and geometric pattern...

Of cylindrical form, decorated with lively garden scene of the noble ladies and children, with metal bands on the rims of the cover and the pot.

A small lidded jar or bowl, Kangxi period, c 1700. Clobbered in iron red, green, black and gilt over the original under-glaze blue decoration, for the European (Dutch?) market. The base with an “Asian” seal mark in iron red. Height, including lid "2¾/ 7 cm. Condition: the lid with some rubbing to the gilt, otherwise fine.

A Chinese jar, 19th Century Kangxi revival. Wu jin or mirror black glaze and decoration in gilt of flowers and birds in reserves against a diapered background. Condition: drilled hole to the base and wear to the gilt, minor scratch marks and some wear around the neck (from the original lid, now missing). A black and gilt lid of a different shape to go with the jar (optional, cf. photo). Height "5½/ 14 cm.

Pair Chinese Export porcelain Famille Rose with Cafe au Lait glazed Dishes, early Qianlung period, 1736-1796, 5 1/8" diameter, 3/4" high, decorated with large butterfly in the center with floral branches with bird and butterflies in overglaze enamel, and molded as a honeycomb and scalloped edge rim. Light color of Cafe au Lait glaze underneath outside, underglaze blue mark on white background in the center on the bottom...

Pair of parakeets resting on a rock. White hard porcelain, yellow enameled spouts and legs, black enamel details. The body of the birds is covered with a transparent glaze, however the unglazed rock which is covered with a layer of brown lacquer. I don't know of any other other same parakeet listed so it is difficult to date them with certainty.Probably Chinese work from the Qing period. Good condition, lacquer worn in places...
