This item was made in China for export, circa 1750, during the reign of the Qianlong emperor (1736-1795). The bowl was repaired in the 1800's with 3 metal staples and there are 2 rim chips at the break. The repair is excellent, the bowl is solid, and it still retains a nice ring when tapped. The body of the birds is covered with a transparent glaze, however the unglazed rock which is covered with a layer of brown lacquer. I don't know of any other other same parakeet listed so it is difficult to date them with certainty.Probably Chinese work from the Qing period. Good condition, lacquer worn in places...
