$3,200.00 A large Chinese scroll with hand-embroidered Double Happiness character, comprised of chrysanthemums and leaves. Vibrant shades of pink, purple, green, orange and white silk within the Double Happiness symbol contrast beautifully against the red silk ground.
Size: (entire scroll) 45" W x 100" H (artwork only) 35" W x 65.5" H Blue silk ground with embroidery in Peking knot and satin stitch, showing peonies and auspicious symbols. Bordered with later, patterned fabric and backed with silk. Condition: few small stains. Dimension: 58.5 cm long x 22.3 cm wide.

SOLD Antique Chinese silk robe, made with light burgundy silk fabric, edged in gold embroidered silk. The backside is ornately hand-embroidered with auspicious objects and symbols within flaming rings. The central image is a large yin-yang outlined by gold embroidered scrolls. With some areas of wear. Some fading and losses.

SOLD A lovely antique hand-knotted wool Chinese Mongolian rug, with scene of a white cat seated on a structure of rocks, its head pointed towards the sky in observation of a nearby butterfly, with branches of blue and red flowers against a red ground. Good color and thick pile. Previous owner's publication. done in 1990s, Antique Chinese Carpets, Te-Chun Wang Collection.

Sold. Thank you. Vest made of tiny bamboo beads and all hand-strung with cotton threads. It was worn till early 20th century (Quin Dynasty) as an underwear of silk garments, especially in the southern China or neighboring countries. It made a wearer keep cool and avoid the outer garment wetting by sweat. Generally in good condition but almost 30 beads are missing. 19th to early 20th century. 48cm x 52cm

The surrounding area has large scholar rocks and plants with ruyi motifs, a platform with a picture of waves hung against the wall. The front and backside may be viewed through the framing, which has edges carved like bamboo with gold finish...

It was made from hand corded plant fiber,tied into a series of knots to form a shallow sack.
Originally there would have been a fabric shoulder strap which would have been tied around the loops on either side of the top of the bag...
The front of the bag is decorated with a traditional silver ornament depicting a butterfly.
The bag is in tact: no holes, or rips but is dirty from use and age....
