$350.00 A wood brush pot was in nice form.
It was well preserved despite the bottom cover was lost and was replaced by an old plank of wood. The surface was in kind of dry-feel and in pale tint. But I believe it can be transformed easily by rubbing with wood wax and changed to a beautifulcolor. Date: late Qing to early republic periods, 19th/20th C. Height: 15.5cm

$445.00 Very collectible ink cake of a Chinese woman in traditional Chinese attire wearing padded armor and holding the Chinese Army (1912 -1929)flag while her left hand crosses over body and rests on the sword pummel. The detailing is excellent and this is one of those items that looks better in person than in the photos. We feel comfortable with a pre-1920 dating. It measures 5.5" (14 cm) high, 4" (10.2 cm) widest, .75" (1.9 cm) deep.

The lacquer shaft is connected to the natural bristle brush by a bulbous wood ferrule. One of the four treasures of the scholar’s studio, this striking scholar’s brush would have made an attractive companion to a fine brush pot.
