A delightful and rare Antique Chinese good quality Silver Pumpkin shape box, ca. 1840. Has intricate details and a leaf on top. Very good condition and workmanship, no repairs or alterations. Size: H. 4 cm. x 7 cm. diameter (1.5" x 2.75"). Bottom has clear pinpointed Chinese character mark.

A pair Chinese silver spill vases made for the Western export or used in the Chinese market as incense stick holders. Decorated with prunus twigs, standing on three splayed feet with original clear glass inserts. Base with maker's mark "WH90", standing for the Wang Hing Company, working in Shanghai and Hong Kong around 1900. Condition: fine, few traces of usage, one insert seems to be a bit too long. Dimension: c. 11.6 cm high, weight of silver: 90 g.

A very rare genuine Silver OPIUM BOX-ROLLER-DRUM, QING DYNASTY, 19th Century, China, with beautiful refined engravings of flowers, a bird and foliage. Size: height 2" x 1 1/2" diameter (5 x 4 cm. diameter). Base is stamped in Chinese. Very difficult to find nowadays, Opium Collector's item!

Rare cane in silver and precious wood. It is a real walking cane (and not a thin umbrella handle reemployed) as evidenced by the large ball knob that we have well in hand. The cast silver pommel is chiseled with two dragons fighting and scenes of daily life, fishermen, plowman, warrior? On the top of the pommel a Chinese character protrudes, it is finely chiseled with broken lines in the style of "ice crack" (frosted cracks) which here certainly have a meaning which unfortunately escapes us...

Antique pair of silver and enamel finger nail guards, worn by wealthy ladies to protect their long finger nails and show that they did not need to work with their hands, made all of pierced repouse silver and decorated with motifs of birds, flowers and fruit, 19th century. Size: 3 1/4" long

Antique Chinese charming hat finial, made of pierced repouse silver and enamel, carved jade disk near base, inset with coral and turquoise, large round agate bead in center, topped with a playful lion with movable ears, the underside of the finial is made of pierced and incised silver with a design of monkeys and bats, 19th/20th century. Antique Chinese figure of a standing bodhisattva, most likely Avalokiteshvara since he holds a gold lotus in one hand and a gold water jar in the other. Standing on a double lotus base and on a carved hardwood stand. Flowing drapery and high chignon with gold detail. Made of silver repoussé. Provenance Estate of WM Bogdanowicz, Wisconsin.

Antique Chinese silver repouse hair ornament for wrapping hair, top has scroll form, decorated all over with highly raised design of flowers, two stamped marks on back. 19th/20th century. Size; 5 3/4" long x 2" wide

A Chinese lady's belt made of 16 mother of pearl discs each mounted with alternate appliques of butterfly and auspicious Chinese characters. One of the two end gilt silver clasps which are decorated with enamel characters is stamped "90" followed by characters. The quality of the multicolor enamel work as seen in the butterflies, is superb. size: 70 cm long. age: C. 1900. condition: One butterfly is missing and one disc has part of the Chinese character missing.

Fine Chinese bronze vase by Shisou; inlaid silver decoration throughout; dragon chasing a flaming pearl over waves above herringbone diaper-work; pearl and part of the dragon’s head is solid silver; very heavy; signed Shisou; good condition

Cast and turned bronze vase. Decor of bamboo, rocks and Greek friezes incised and inlaid with silver wires. The bronze has a beautiful original patina. It lacks inlays that have come off over time. Probably china or vietnam 19th centurie. Height about 16cm. No restaure.

A small Chinese silver box with a hinged lid displaying a bird amongst flowers. This lovely box features open cut work in broken ice pattern on all sides. In very good condition, it measures 1.75 inches wide, 1.75" deep, and 1" high. Circa 1900.

A collection of seven types of fruits including mango, persimmon, pomegranate and cherry, star fruits all finely rendered with leaves and branches, hand crafted in repousse silver with hyperealism. Fruit to be displayed with the wish for fertility as they are known for holding many seeds.

Old Chinese Gilt Silver Enamel Bangle with Frog & Bamboo Marked "Silver"

It is 7 inches (18 cm) in inner circumference by 2.3 inches (6 cm) inner diameter and 0.7 inch (1.9 cm) wide. It is 49.7 gram.

It is tarnished and has rubbing of gilt, minor missing enamels, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).
