Considered with remained white slip and shape of bottom, it is seemed this piece would be made in early Ryao, has Tang -style. It has very clean green glaze. Certification: by Noriki Shimazu the famous researcher with Asian antique in Japan. Size: 11.5cm(D) 9.4cm(H)

Chinese Ming Dynasty Longquan Celadon Tripod Censer

This attractive and quite rare three-footed censer was made during the 14th / 15th century most likely at the Longquan kilns, Zhejiang province. The wide body stands on three short integral feet. Incised bands encircle the mouth and base. It is coated in a finely-crackled celadon glaze of good colour save for areas on the inner surface and base where the unglazed pale brown porcelaneous body is revealed.

This piece had been imported to Japan in 14th century by "Tenryu-ji ship", and so called "天龍寺青磁 Tenryu-ji celadon" in Japan. It has peony pattern carved at the inner and outside surface, and fretwork pattern at the inner rim. Certification: by Noriki Shimazu the famous researcher with Asian antiques in Japan. 17th Century Kangxi Chinese Blue & White Porcelain Censer

It is 5.4 inches (13.7 cm) tall by 9.6 inches (24.4 cm) wide. It is 4.7 lb.

It has been repaired (painted over hairline cracks). Its lip's rim is also filed. It also has skip glazes, dark spots, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).
