A small, most beautiful and very rare vase. Fine shugary white porcelain body, covered with an translucent Aquamarin-coloured glaze. Song Dynasty, 12th - 13th century. H : 6,8 cm. Condition : Perfect. ( It seems there is a small missed area to the irregularly shaped, unglazed foot-area. The glazed area of the vase is in an absolutely perfect condition.)

Description:

A black-glazed Jianyang tea bowl was in lovely size.
Uniquely and rarely-seen, it was decorated inside the bowl with splashed white mottles.
Obvious incursions had happened to the glaze resulting in the earthen and foggy look.
That includes the bursting holes of the glaze bubbles.
Wiry crackles can be observed too.
The darken body clay revealed was in enduring old look and was covering with grayish oxidation...

A small Cizhou jar was applied on the surface with black glaze.
In fine shape, the jar was adapted with a newly made lacquer cap.

Date: Yuan periods, 13th Century.

Height: 6.1cm.(without cap), 7.1cm (with cap)

A massive white glazed porcelain vase decorated with gourds, grapes, pomegranates and other auspicious motifs in high relief techniques. A six characters "Daqing Guanxu Nianzhi" seal mark is inscribed on the shoulder, and of the period. Condition: losses; minor kiln faults. Comprising a censer, 2 vases and 4 cabdlesticks. The censer and the two candlesticks in the center belong together, the other items were matched. H. Between 18 and 21 cm. Condition: the censer and the two candlesticks in the center are in a very good condition, even the separate handles of the censer are intact. The other two candlesticks and one of the vases have repairs to the corners. This set came from a Dutch private collection and was brought together in Beijing in the nineties...

A fine and rare MING DYNASTY JARLET with craquelé light brown glaze and splashes of blue and white glaze here and there. The base is also glazed except for the resting ring on the base. Found in the MUSI RIVER, close to Palembang City, which was the Capital of the SRIVIJAYA KNGDOM and which had a vast trade network with China and Siam. Condition overall good, one inconsequential chip on the lip of the top ring. Size:height 13 cm x 13 cm. diameter at the center. Rare Collector's item!

A very rare Ming Dynasty, Chenghua period porcelain Minyao ( peoplesware )bowl with an underglaze blue Chenghua Palace bowl motif. ( 1465 - 1487 ).The design of this bowl is based on 'palace bowls' with Chenghua reign marks, of which an example in the Ataka Collection is illustrated by T. Nakano, The Panoramic Views of Chinese Patterns, Tokyo, 1985, pl. 109, and another in Selected Ceramics from the Collection of Mr. & Mrs. J. M. Hu, Shanghai, 1989, p. 52, no. 19...

Ming Dynasty, Chongzhen period, 1628 ~ 1644.

The twelve sided dish with brown-dressed rim is decorated in enamels that appear to be an attempt to reproduce doucai wares. The decoration features a bee, a monkey, a bird and a deer in a landscape.This forms a rebus on the auspicious line ‘feng hou jue li’, “enfeoffment and emolument”...

A late MING blue & white SWATOW ware decorated with a phoenix in cavetto and a border with auspicious symbols. The back side also has some painted decor. It has a thick, shiny glaze and also shows some unglazed spots. The back side has some sand/grit deposit which is a typical characteristic for Swatow wares, Very good condition, no cracks, hairlines nor restorations. Size: 7.5" inches (19 cm.) diameter. ca. 1600

A porcelain jarlet with underglaze Cobalt blue decoration. Ming Dynasty ( 1573 - 1622 ). Diameter : 6,2 cm. H.: 4,6 cm. Condition: Perfect.

The Chinese porcelain dish has a border of two repeating elements, a garlanded ruyi and three interlinked rings. The centre of the dish depicts a Chinese landscape with two scholars approaching a solitary angler. The dish was made for the Japanese where such pieces were used and much appreciated in the tea ceremony, at a time when the Japanese porcelain industry was in its infancy.

Description:

A high-footed Qingbai censer was in decent form.
By flat mouth rim. the censer was stand with floral stem foot.
In characteristic lake-green tint, the glaze was suffused with whitish incursions when frets were observed on the ridges of the floral patterns.
Characteristic and darken firing effects were yielded on the body clay inside the stem foot.

Date: Northern Song Dynasty, 11th/12th century.

Description:

A green-glazed jarlet was mold in a trumpet form.
On the wide shoulder, a circular band of flower motifs were decorated in a fine look.
It was well preserved except some old frets were found on the rims.
Fine crackles and iridescence condition were yielded due to age.
