Chinese Qing dynasty Tongzhi mark and period (1862-1874) cylindrical food container decorated around the circumference with four overglaze iron-red five-clawed dragons in profile above a band of underglaze blue waves. Each dragon is among underglaze blue clouds and separated from each other by a pair of vertical blue cloud bands shaped like opposing bats. A geometric blue band extends along the top. Each side has twisted metal handles supported by two animal mask lugs with gilt highlights...

Chinese Qing to Republic period porcelain lion dog seated with an open mouth revealing ferocious teeth and a well-formed protruding tongue, covered overall with a golden amber glaze. 8 1/2" high x about 8" long. Early 20th century. An old price tag is adhered to the unglazed base. Very good overall condition with possibly a tiny loss or production flaw to the side of one tooth. From a Paradise Valley, Arizona estate.

Chinese Qing dynasty wucai porcelain scalloped edge ritual bell with double-dragon form handle decorated with eight polychrome mythical beasts set against underglaze blue crashing waves on a white ground. Two narrow bands are at the top. The interior is a pale aqua color. The scalloped edge is unglazed. 6 3/4” high. 19th century. Fine quality restorations have been executed to an old hairline in the interior of the bell and to a small area of damage at the scalloped edge...

Chinese late Qing dynasty Yixing stoneware teapot of buff colored clay with globular body, fixed upright U-shaped handle, and slightly concave base. The body is decorated around the circumference with relief applied leafy grape vines. The spout and handle are formed to resemble knotty twigs. The lightweight wood lid is deeply carved with three bats. There is a single hole for the spout. 19th century...

Chinese Qing dynasty Yongzheng to Qianlong period round form deep plate decorated in underglaze blue on a white porcelain ground with a central panel of lotus flowers and leaves surrounded by a band of peonies and scrolling foliage extending around the well. A similar band decorates the exterior. The base and foot rim are unglazed. 11” diameter x 2” high. 18th century. Very good overall condition. There are original production flaws along the rim (see enlargement 11)...

Produced by the Jiangxi Porcelain Company at Pearl Mountain and dated 1924. Nice quality wood frame. Porcelain measures 15 1/8" x 9 7/8" (with frame: 16 3/8" x 11 1/4"). Very good overall condition. There are tiny brown scattered spots in the glaze from the original production...

Chinese early Republic period porcelain bowl decorated in famille rose enamels against a turquoise ground with a magpie bird perched on a limb surrounded by wisteria, peony flowers, and scrolling vines. To the left of the bird is a red “Dayazhai” (Abode of Great Refinement) hallmark. To the left of this mark is a small red oval panel holding two dragons and the script “Tian di yi jia chun” (“Heaven and earth are united as one family in spring”)...
