Chinese late Qing to early Republic period ceramic modeled container shaped like a "ha ma," or toad, with a hollow body and flat base covered in a monochrome pearl glaze with a seeded finish. Measures about 10 ½”L x 9 ¼”W x 6”H. There are some old surface cracks visible. The back section appears to have been restored and the gray areas in the pearl glaze appear to be old restorations which were executed in China...

Chinese heavily potted late Qing dynasty Shiwan (Shekwan) earthenware globular form bud vase with small cylindrical mouth covered overall with a thick, Song dynasty style Jun-type glaze that stops well above the concave base. Circa late 19th to early 20th century. 4 ½” high x 4 ½” diameter. Very good overall condition. There is a light scratch or production flaw in the body at the base (see enlargements 4 and 8)...

The bowl has subtle textures, the center has a faint lotus flower encircled by an incised line, the body has radiating lines from the center, the rim of the bowl is slightly recessed. It measures 14" in diameter, 5" tall. The base has an unglazed ring where it was fired in the kiln and the unglazed ceramic can be seen.

Please ask Chinese Longquan celadon vase in olive fruit shape with a swelling mid-section incised with the cloud motif, it's' foot covered with brown slip and unglazed, measures 24.5 cm Height and 13.5cm diameter, of the Ming dynasty. The vase has a firing flaw on mouth rim and otherwise in good condition.
