$700.00 Two rare turquoise glazed foo lion candle holders of the Ming dynasty, these are not the typical joss stick holders, for reference of this type, please refer to the book " Song dynasty ceramics" by Rose Kerr. Shown on page 57 fig. 53, is a candlestick in the form of a lion, though dated 12th-13th century, the spouted form atop the backside of the lion renders it a candlestick. In good condition with minor chips and grazing of the glaze, all commiserate with age. They measure 6 inches high...
Very Rare Chinese Song / Yuan Dynasty Buddhist Lotus Jar with Sanskrit Inscription
This very rare, possibly unique, pottery jar was made between the 10th and 13th centuries, during the Five Dynasties period (AD 906 - 960), Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279) or possibly the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368) and has been excavated from a Buddhist site in Yunnan province. It is one of the most unusual Yunnan jars that we have seen. The design represents either lotus leaves or a lotus blossom... A mid- size Northern Wei dynasty terracotta warrior figure. Ht. 31 cm. Condition: no restore, arrow bag broken during excavation as shown overall in good condition. Shipping from Taipei, Taiwan via EMS at actual cost. SOLD Chinese Neolithic tripod earthenware ewer (gui) of the Dawenkou culture (4th-3rd millennium BCE) meant for use in religious ceremonies. The vessel has a flared, upwards pointing mouth with a single ribbed handle on its back, ribbing along the body's edges, and its tripod legs are dramatically tapered to the feet.

$650.00 Pair Chinese green glazed ceramic storage jar with a globular body. The interiors are also glazed as well as isthe inside of the lids. Embossed CHINA on the bottom, we date them circa 1900. In good condition, one lid is damaged, see last photo, but it is glazed over with a clear glaze, so it was fired this way. Measures 7.5 inches high including lid, 7 inches diameter.
