Chinese porcelain rice bowl with a matching footed lid, decorated with red snarling dragons, surrounded by pink and blue puffs of smoke and red embers. The lid's top has pink flowers with pretty twisting vines, and around the bottom of the bowl is a blue-green wave pattern. A Chinese qinhua or blue and white vase, beautifully painted, in the form often seen in archaic bronzes known as a gu, or a wine vessel. The vase is decorated with framed sections of views of landscapes and scholars near an embankment. The images are surrounded by cloud patterns with the character longevity done in the seal script. The vase has a Kangxi mark, but most likely republic period. Size: diameter 4.2 in. height 9 in.

Chinese late Ming dynasty Wanli period porcelain kendi with a compressed globular body and mammiform spout decorated on the globular body in underglaze cobalt blue with flowers and scrolling foliage. Leafy peaches and ribboned lozenges decorate the spout and a band around the shoulder. The tubular neck, which flares to a wide disk shaped mouth, is painted with a stiff leaf band.
