Antique Chinese ruyi scepter carved of boxwood in a naturalistic representation of a lingzhi mushroom. Long and elegantly curved with smaller lingzhi sprouting from it's stem. Beautifully carved with great attention to detail and form. Ruyi scepters were used in Chinese Buddhist ceremonies and as symbols of good fortune, luxury and power.

Antique Chinese large cast iron temple bell with scalloped bottom edge. Four square reserves with raised writing, roundels and rolling wave or mist design in band around the bottom of the bell. One of the square reserves reads, 乾隆四十七年　吉日造 "Made on an auspicious day in the 47th year of Qianlong"

Chinese heavy duty Rosewood round Display Stand, 16" diameter-widest, 13 3/4" diameter-top display area, 2 3/4" high, more than 10 pounds for the weight. Three(3) old holes used to support for the three(3) leg heavy Bronze Incense Burner6 1/2" wide between each holes, 1 1/2" diameter-(size of the hole and 3/8" high), the condition is good.

19th Century Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Garden Seat, Hexagonal shape with open Ancient Coin shape openings on 2 sides and top, 19" high, 11" wide, with underglaze blue decoration of different design of Floral, Lake and Pagoda with Figure in the boat in six panels, blue Ruyi decorated borders on top and bottom. Old tight stained hairline cracks on the side and top about 6" long on one area, whole garden seat is tight and solid and heavy porcelain,

An assemblage of a figural Baluchari silk sari end panel fragment, showing three European men riding on a railway coach, dating around 1800. Edged with a Kashmiri wool shawl fragment. Once framed and possibly sold as souvenir. Mounted on cardboard. Condition: faded and few tiny stains, border with few small losses. Dimension total: 30.6 x 25.3 cm.

Antique Japanese Edo period 1600-1868, Samurai war hat Nirayama Jingasa kabuto made of finely hand-woven bamboo fiber with a black lacquered exterior, adorned on each side with gold samurai nobility family crest - moon. The interior is lacquered with red urushi.

CONDITION: Showing age and usage, signs of wear from time and long use, some lacquer loss around the edges, and minor crazing to the lacquer finish but remains in very good condition considering its age, still flexible.

Buddhist lion in gilded bronze. Japanese work from the Edo period (17 ° -19 °) difficult to date with precision. However the style of the round patches of the coat does not seem to me to be 17 °, it is more reasonable to think 18 ° -19 °. The cast iron is of good quality and very thick which makes it very heavy (18 kilograms). The bronze was hot gilded with mercury and then covered with translucent lacquer which gives an orange color. A Shigaraki vase by Furutani Kazuya enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Shigaraki Konsei Hanaire. The Konsei blended clay creates a unique texture. The coloration on thi piece makes it stand apart from its contemporaries. Very unusual and striking combination of raw clay, orange, black and a few crystaline beads of green glazz around two white eyes. It is 29 cm (11-1/2 inches) tall, 15 cm (6 inches) diameter and in excellent condition, directly from the artist.
