From our Japanese Collection, a good Meiji Period (1868-1912) imari lobed dish, executed in traditional palette using iron red, orange, blue, green, and gilt on a white porcelain body, depicting a stylized chrysanthemum head motif in the center well, along with dragon, phoenix, and floral motifs in the border reserves. From our Southeast Asia Collection, a fine and very large Khmer (Cambodian) handmade silk textile now framed as a wall hanging, executed in traditional Khmer palette using a combination of natural vegetal dyes and synthetic colors, depicting various animal and geometric motifs. A very striking and dramatic piece not commonly encountered.
Size and Condition: 94 1/2 inches wide, 40 1/2 inches tall. Some minor thread pulls here and there but overall excellent condition.

Sold to Hong Kong - February 2011 售至香港 - 2011年2月 A bombe form bronze censer finely carved with four winged mythical animals and two fish. The base carries a Xuande reign mark but this item was made later, probably circa 1795-1850 during the reign of the Jiaqing or Daoguang emperors. Condition - very good - this item had been polished when we acquired it about eight years ago but is now regaining its patination; there are no damages or losses. Dimensions - 23cm (9inches) wide; 8cm (3.2inches)high. Weight 1.7kg (3.8lb).

A celadon ewer or water dropper was intriguingly mold as chicken pot. By cute-looking spout and simple-form wings, the porcelain pot was applied with glass-sheen glaze all over the surface. On the unglazed bottom, the dense-feel clay was revealed and was with adhesives of burial earth. Crackles and abrasions were resulted from incursions too. It was kept in very fine condition.
