Sold, Thank you! A silver mist box with glass lid by Kondo Takahiro enclosed in the original signed wooden box. It is roughly 4-1/2 x 3 x 4-1/2 inches (11.5 x 7 x 11.5 cm) and is in excellent condition.

Sold. Thank you Two Tibetan bone carvings of dancing Dakinis from a ceremonial bone apron. One Dakini carries a chopper, kapala (skull cup) and a skull scepter; the other holds a kapala in her left hand. Both have large scrolling swirls carved above and below them. The backs have numerous holes for stringing. The bone is probably from a Yak.
Period: 18th/19th Century. Size: 16cm & 17cm. W. Both 4cm. Condition: No repairs. cracks or chips.

A pair of Jianyang hare-furs tea bowls was well mold in fine shape. In evert mouth rim, the bowls were stand by circular foot rings. Characteristic abrasion was found at the foot ring where the body clay was covered with burial adhesives. Incursions were also found on the mouth rim. Japanese Meiji period teardrop form cabinet vase covered in a rich mottled blue glaze over a brown base. The vase bears the impressed mark of Okumura Shozan (1841-1905) on the glazed base. SOLD A rare sake-daru (Sake Keg) made of piled woven bamboo in combination with Japanese red lacquered pine. This tsuno-daru has two horn-like staves with inscriptions, a cross piece forming a carrying handle, and a wooden plug that pulls out. This saki barrel dates pre 1920. Sake casks such as this were prepared by sake factories to be used for special ceremonial occasions in the late 19th to the early 20th centuries. In excellent condition, it measures 21” tall and 7” in diameter.
