Antique Chinese Qing Dynasty blue and white porcelain snuff bottle featuring an elaborate hunting scene which includes animals such as wild boar, birds, deer, and a rabbit. Hunters are depicted on foot and riding horseback while shooting bows and arrows. In very good antique condition, no cracks, no hairlines. There are some minor abrasions or loss of glaze at around the rim which may have happened during firing. Height about 3 inches high.

Beautiful vintage Japanese sodenashi (work vest) made with indigo sakiori (rag weave) cotton, woven with multicolor areas to create a lovely patchwork effect, edged in solid indigo cotton, reinforced along the back, sides, and back of the neck in sashiko stitching. These vests were traditionally worn by workers in mountainous regions.

Japanese Earthenware Studio Vase, with dripping oily glaze, maybe Seto ware, 9 3/4" high, 4 1/2" diameter-top rim, 4 1/4" diameter-bottom rim, oily drippy glaze applied just over half way down, rest of glaze is chestnut brown color. Lots of glare in the photographs. The condition is good, no damages.

A nice Nyonya bowl with butterflies and floral design. Nyonya wares are over-glaze polychrome enamelled porcelains made in Jingdezhen in the Kiangsi province of China for the Straits Chinese, or Babas, whose female counterparts are called Nyonyas, hence the term Nyonya ware. Nyonya wares were mainly reserved for festive occasions and special functions. Size: W.13cm. H. 5cm. Condition: No repairs. Some wear and ageing.

Japanese cylindrical blue and white porcelain brushpot in three-section bamboo form decorated at the center with birds in flight among tree tops. The top section is covered in a key fret pattern and the bottom section with a myriad of small white circular medallions containing foliage set against a blue ground. A band of scrolling foliate decorates the flat interior rim, which is dressed brown. The base bears a Chinese Daoguang 2 (1822) mark and the honorary mark of a legendary Japanese potte...

Anonymous painter to me, from pre war era

This is a large and exquisite antique Japanese cloisonné-enamel and embossed-foil (ginbari) Akasuke (Pigeon Blood) footed bowl with a lid and silvered mounts. The bowl's body is covered with red ginbari featuring a bamboo pattern, while the lid is decorated with fine details of pink and white roses and green leaves on a translucent deep red ginbari ground with the same bamboo pattern.

The silvered mounts add a touch of elegance to the overall design.

A rare antique, Thai mother-of-pearl inlaid black lac footed cup, or pedestal bowl, Thailand, 18th or early 19th century. The cup of rounded polygonal form with thin sides rising from a decagonal splaying foot, the exterior extremely finely inlaid with various typically Thai designs and motifs in mother-of-pearl against a black lac ground. The interior is decorated with a plain cinnabar-red lacquer.
