Chinese Qing Dynasty Blue and White snuff bottle depicting a group of horsemen approaching a walled entrance to city with other figures present. No apparent cracks or chips. Includes stopper without lid. Height 2.5+ inches, width 1.5 inches.

An opium scale made of two carved bamboo parts that pivot open at the rounded end and close together with a leather strap. Inside this violin-shaped instrument are the original items - metal scale tray, counterweight and a measuring rod made of a long single piece of wood. (See photos) The interior is carved so that all 3 items fit snugly inside. On outside of the scale the Chinese character "shou" made of metal. "Shou" symbolizes longevity and good luck.

Magnificent set of Kamisugi Sake Brewery bronze doors from the Taisho Period, C.1920. One door has gold gilt wood letters reading 'Kamisugi' the other 'Shikishima', both sake brands. A very fine and rare Bronze Elephant, 18th Century, Shan State, Burma, with natural verdigris patina, mounted. Good condition overall. Size: L. 8 cm x H. 5 cm x W. 3 cm.

Vest made of tiny bamboo beads and all hand-strung with cotton threads. It was worn till early 20th century (Quin Dynasty) as an underwear of silk garments, especially in the southern China or neighboring countries. It made a wearer keep cool and avoid the outer garment wetting by sweat. Generally in good condition but almost 30 beads are missing. 19th to early 20th century. 48cm x 52cm

A LIAO DYNASTY Terracotta Tsa-Tsa Votive Buddhist Plaque, China, AD 907-1125, with fine details. Nicely mounted on a wooden base. From a group of varied tablet sizes that were excavated, most likely from the foundations of an ancient Buddhist temple, placed there to ensure success and prosperity. Condition very good. Size 2.5" (6 cm.) No restorations. whatsoever.

A Chinese Canton enamel bowl and saucer finely painted with lotus scrolls on a ruby-red ground and some golden highlights. The underside of the quatrefoil shaped dish with two coiled dragons. Condition: some stress hairlines, the base of the dish with a small flake. Fine - regarding the age and delicacy of the material. Please consult the photos, they make part of the condition report. Featuring rich earthy tones and intricate hand-drawn stencil designs of passion flowers resting on a string of vines, this bowl would be perfect for displaying an ikebana flower arrangement. A set of 5 chataku (saucer for tea cup) made of brass and black checker pateern looks painted with urushi. In good condition but some parts where black urushi came off and hair lines. It has engraved mark, "Shobido" in the back. 20th century. Glass tea cup is not included. 11cm x 11cm x 1.2cm

A nice stout wine jug with two handles at the wide shoulders. The two handles have deliberate cuts at the tops, probably to tie rope for securing the stopper. The brownish black glaze covers the jar to about 2.5 cm from the bottom.
