Chinese small carved jade ink stone and brush washer in one piece. The ink stone side is carved with a leaning pine tree and mist. Turned on its reverse side, it functions as a brush washer. The sides are incised with a key fret motif.

Small Indian Jain bronze of a seated Vishnu. His wife, Lakshmi is seated on his left knee. Vishnu hold his attributes, the conch shell in his upper right hand and Sudarshana Chakra (discus) in his upper left. Patina and traces of vermillion pigment. The faces of both deities are smooth from years of reverent handling.

A lidded container in a divided, compressed form of finely, carved bamboo root. Good luck bringing Bats (bianfu) carved in relief decorate the sides and lid. Bottom with a la grec pattern. Mid Qing, around 1800. H 10 cm, W 8.2 cm. Condition: Very good. Traces of wear. One short crack on the middle part of the bottom panel filled.

Design book of Japanese traditional patterns which are originally designed by Katsushika Hokusai (1760?~1849), a notable and prominent Ukiyo-e-shi. The title is "Shin-gata Kommon-cho", a new komon design book. It has a pair of two designs, which are woodblock print, black line in one page and colored in the other and each has a name. 74 patterns in a ciecle. In excellent condition. The everted flanges are joined to the end of the top and rail, and the spandrel is of two scrolling dragons carved in low relief. The legs of the table rest on horizontal feet. Between the legs are a carved pendant of double motifs of ruyi scepters and pair of scrolling dragons.

This white porcelain statue depicts a small seated Bodhisattva deep in meditation. Bodhisattva, otherwise known as bosatsu in Japan, are enlightened beings who have postponed Buddha-hood in order to remain on earth and help others to break their cycles of karma. The base of this statue is unglazed showing the fine porcelain clay from which it is crafted. The seal of the Imperial Court Artist who fashioned it can be seen clearly impressed on the unglazed base.
