A pair of root-wood geese carvings 10 x 4 x 3 inches (24 x 10 x 9 cm) and 6 x 3 x 8 inches (14 x 6.5 x 20 cm) respectively. There are some minor losses around where the feet are attached to the natural form polished wood bodies, otherwise are in fine condition.

Its sides and front door have kakute style handles, with simplistic iron bracing on its front door. Original working key is included. Five drawers are sealed away within for safe storage of valuables.

The This lantern has four panels: the door: a bird, bamboo branch, tree, sun in the clouds. The lid is round with a handle for hanging. The base is round with three feet. The door latches closed. It measures 11" diameter, 8" tall. Taisho period, circa 1920.

Iron hardware of a rosy tone adorns each corner and drawer front, such as kakute (squared) shape handles and fleur de lis style locks. Antique Japanese ikebana (flower arranging) basket of a very tall, slender form. The body is woven in criss-cross patterns with slim, tightly woven accents at the top and very middle. The inside has a slim bamboo container. Bottom is signed "Kazutomi". Size: 23" H x 5.5" W

Antique Japanese large woven ikebana basket, used for artistic flower arrangements. The basket body has an open flat plate with woven geometric design. Chiku'unsai is known for adding natural found objects as shown of gnarled bamboo handle. He allows us to see the beauty in this state. The wide, flat foot is signed on the bottom "Chiku'unsai"
