Antique Japanese Bizen ware figure of Tanuki, he is dressed as a monk, a jar for drinking hangs from one arm, in the other hand he holds his ledger book. Very charming expression and lovely detail.

This rare pear shaped wine bottle has been manufactured 1000 years ago in the prospering Chinese Song Dynasty.

The coloured crackle glaze and the spoils of age fuse to a stunning Chinese Ceramic masterpiece. Some pieces of glaze have been chipped off due to the age, but it does not reduce the gorgeous impression of this wine bottle.

This delightful small pottery bowl was made during the late Song dynasty of China (around 1200 A.D.).

Originating from the Jian kilns of Fujian province, it has a base of rough, unglazed clay, and a rare streaked ‘hare’s fur’ glaze, made using iron oxide in the firing process.

The rim has a rust red glaze, and would have been made separately from the main body.

Large antique Chinese cabinet in two stacking sections, made of a beautiful honey color hardwood, cabinet doors on front are lacquered black and have stone inlaid scenes of children playing, the sides have lacquer scenes of mountains. The interior of the bottom section has a shelf with two small drawers. Republic Period. Size: 96" (8ft) high x 47" wide x 21 1/2" deep.

An antique Chinese long table carved with motif of scrolling clouds and a type of fungus knowns as Lingzhi, an auspicious motif and an actual fungus used in Chinese medicine.
