An Antique Bulgarian belt with a large, brass buckle that is embellished with intricate damascene carvings of flowers and a raised portion of double domes topped with an image of a woman's profile at it's center. The main buckle is framed by to lesser domes. The buckle has a hook hinge in the back and is secured with a chain and pin closure. The belt is of embroidered silk on a leather background with interspersed double stacked brass tubes.

Rare early 20th century Yi minority lacquered box constructed from leather. I purchased this piece in a Bai minority, weekly market in Yunnan near Dali around 2002. I assume this is now an extinct craft no longer being done because of the availability of cheap plastic items as well as the migration of artisans to better paying jobs in the city. Very minor lacquer losses on the edge. Excellent condition. H: 5cm/2in

An amusing tonkotsu, a container for tobacco, skillfully carved in wood as a man emerging from a basket! His clasped hands pierced to allow a suspension cord, not present. The eyes are inlaid and the base has a mother of pearl signature tablet.

A 20th century production but hand carved.

A fine agate snuff bottle of large size the sides carved in relief with various birds on prunus branches. The bottle is very well-hollowed and weighs only 97 grams without the stopper. The foot and mouth both slightly concave. The stopper is grey smoky agate, the spoon is bone. The bottle is fairly large and might have been used as a table bottle. 20th century.

Approximately 7.8 cm high. Perfect condition.

This is a Japanese antique natural Safflower dyeing katazome cotton & shibori kimono of the edo-Meiji era. There is a change of color that oozes out of safflower dyed cotton. but there is no damage. They are not disturbing, and as a whole it is in very good condition. Around the hem and the part of the okumi and the red part of the cuff are muslin. Shibori under the sleeve is cotton. A fine old ceremonial sake pourer, hisage, hand made from copper and decorated with shochikubai (pine, plum and bamboo), minogame and cranes.
