An old stone box was beautifully carved on the cover with a five-clawed swirling Dragon and with cloud pattern at the basin. By a well rendered craftsmanship, the covered box was in a magnificent mood by its astonishing image. Kept in perfect condition and darken patina, there’re only minor defects found at the whiskeys and at one of the corners of the cover. SOLD to Switzerland, January 2009 售往瑞士 - 2009年1月 A good early 18th Century syle meiping form vase decorated with prunus blossom against a "cracked ice" ground. On the base is the six character reign mark of the Kangxi emperor (1662 - 1722) but this item was made later - during the reign of the Guangxu emperor (1875 - 1908). Condition - excellent. No damages and no restoration. 7.3 inches (18.5cm) high.

SOLD Very beautiful and detailed antique figure of Uga Benzaiten, she is carved of wood and painted with colored and gilt lacquer, she has eight arms each holding a different Buddhist objects, her elaborate crown is made of metal and includes glass beads which hang down and a torii gate which stands at the top, one of the details specific to Uga Benzaiten is the coiled snake that sits on top of her head with the head of a man, Edo Period.
