A water vessel with long neck, made of patinated brass with cast relief decoration of butterflies and floral motifs. Similar examples of this type of water bottles in the "Tropenmuseum Amsterdam". Condition: some traces of usage. Dimension: c. 29 cm high, diameter base: 10.6 cm, weight: 1.4 kg.

Antique southeast small Asian ceramic Jar with a brownish/green glaze, two ring handles near mouth, recessed unglazed foot with brown color clay. Very delicate and refined.

Small wide mouth grey pottery jar with “soy” brown glaze from an unknown Southern Kiln. The glaze resembles Jizhou ware. Circa Song Dynasty or earlier, the body is quite thinly potted with delicate lugs near the mouth. There is fritting on the mouth and handle but no cracks or chips. H: 9cm/3.5in and D: 6cm/2.3in.

Sri Lanka Bronze Stupa ritual object beautifully modeled with pointed top, dangling metal ornaments at top cap, ribbed spire, four-cornered to represent the four directions, ribbed middle section, etched floral design on flanges. Beautiful original patina, consistent with age.

Nepalese Wood Stele of Bharayvasati and his Consort. Wonderfully carved with crowned headdresses , his eight outstretched arms holding attributes, standing on vanquished foe, consort riding on lion, atop a lotus thorne, lowest level with devotees.

Antique Indonesian karambit, knife with sheath, carved from Indonesian Zitan with black and brown tones, The knife handle carved as a bird head, The sheath has two lizards on one side and a frog carved on the top edge. The handle is curved with a steel blade dagger. With custom metal stand.

Antique Nepalese Bronze Bodhisatva seated on lotus throne. Depicted lovely and delicate detailing with five pointed crown headdress with small head on deer on left shoulder. Hands raised in prayer, hand holding lotus and other had holding rope. Unusual imagery on back of lotus throne of conch shell and running deer. Detachable base from figure.

Antique Tibetan gilt bronze Tara diety, seated with left hand raised and thumb and forefinger touching and right hand resting on knee. Eye drawn on forehead and palms of both hands. Dressed in royal garb. Beautiful serene expression. Well worn, remnants of blue pigment on hair.

Chinese Han Dynasty Gilt Bronze Chimera Wonderful Chinese Han Dynasty figure of a chimera. The mythical creature is whimsically posed with it's head turned over it's shoulder and it's mouth wide with it's tongue out. It's feet are hooves and on it's back are wings. Made of bronze and gilded, beautiful patina, eyes are made of inlaid turquoise.

Complete set of five Shan esoteric Buddhist images. These consist of a Buddha, three monks and a chedi. These are covered with traditional gold and back lacquer and the bodies are made from compressed powdered herbs or temple incense ash. They have a quirky abstract quality to them, their facelessness represents that the individual is inconsequential but has the potential for becoming a Buddha, on the bottom are the eight Burmese zodiac symbols based on the days of the week...

Rare woman’s pictorial shoulder cloth from a Chin subgroup (Khami, Khumi or Mro) living in the Rakhine and Chin states, west Myanmar. Please note that the pattern is hand embroidered on one side only and not woven in, also most of the geometric woven patterns are unique with only a couple of repetitions. The dimensions are L: 123cm/63in x W: 34cm/13.5in. I have three books and Burmese textiles and there are no depicted examples of pictorial weaves. Circa 50 to 60 years old.
