Price on Request A very rare and large 18th Century AMARAPURA Wooden BUDDHA, Burma, seated on a Lotus flower base, subduing Mara. Beautiful gilding on black lacquer patina and inlaid with small colored mirror pieces. Good overall condition. Left side of base (not the Buddha itself) has an inconsequential fissure due to the considerable age and climatic conditions. Size: H. 115 cm. x W. 70 cm. x D. 46 cm.

Condition: separating age cracks, few inlays lost, cover with an old rim loss, interior warped. Dimension: diameter 24.3 cm, 11.2 cm high.
