This is Sashiko kimono used in Kaga area Kanazawa for the Meiji period. As for this, cotton is dyed with a natural indigo plant. The cotton is spun by hand. This is a very good texture. This is Tsutsugaki Noren used in the rich merchant's family of the Shonai, Yamagata district for Edo period. It is a characteristic of Edo period that a motif has dynamism. Good cotton spun by hand is used. The characteristic tortoise expresses Edo period well. This is dyed with a very good-quality indigo plant very densely. The movement of a crane and the tortoise.
