This is Indigo dye cotton shibori & katazome yogi textile of the last part of Edo era(1800-1868).It is made of hand-spun and hand-woven and natural indigo dyed cotton. Representative of this artists work, the lip has split with heat, one edge blasted off, and the entire charred and buried in ash.
