1930's Japanese Satsuma Earthenware Feet Box with Millefleur & Karako Signed Kawaguri 川栗

It is 3.8 inches (8.9 cm) tall by 3.6 inches (9.2 cm) wide. It is 0.9 Lb.

It has stains, rubbing of gold and paint, small and flea bite chips at the rims of the lid and bottom, and surface wears (as seen in the photos).

The green glaze used for oribe is thought be difficult to produce and only the most skilled potters can produce the green color by knowing the temperature and timing when fired.
