This is a very rare image of baby krishna. He is usually depicted crawling, but this posture where he's trying to put his foot in his mouth is rarely seen. The figure was cast in Gangna-Jumna (two metals) technique. Made in Orissa in the 18th century. Good wear and lovely patina. L. 7 cm. Provenance: private collection Belgium.

Antique bronze Ganesha riding a bull. The Ganesha is wonderfully animated as it holds the four attributes. Obtained in the 1960s from Katmandu. It measures 1.75" wide .5" deep at base 3.75" tall, 20th century.

An unmounted Tibetan thangka of the Buddha Dipakar. The Buddha appeared prior to the historical Buddha, Shakyamuni. Legends of the Buddha's past lives tell of how in a past life when Shakyamuni was a human, he met Dipankar and offered his hair to cover the path the Buddha Dipankar was walking and Dipankar Buddha predicted that the man would become the next Buddha. The thangka is blessed with Tibetan Uchen and sPungs-chen scripts Age: 18th century Size: height 43" width 29"

Large and heavy piece, 500 grams of silver, finely cast and in good condition. Diameter 12,5 cm outside and 7 cm inside. H. 10,5 cm. Made in the first half of the 20th century. Marked on the inside with an "M".

The detacheable central Tirthankara surrounded by other Tirthankaras, two elephants holding his princely parasol, his throne supported by two lions. On the back there is a lengthy inscription, holding the date 1674 in Samvat, which is 1617 in the Western calendar. The shrine is inlaid all over with silver. H. 28 cm, W. 19 cm. Condition: some old damage and an old repair to the thinly cast back of the stand. Otherwise in wonderful original condition.

Antique Indian bronze figure the Goddess Durga, she is seated with her lion mount depicted very small by her right leg, she wears a tall crown, her forehead is burnished from reverent touch over the years, her attributes which she hold in four hands include a sword and a club, she sits on a square base with an ornate nimbus of makara heads and naga canopy, Southern India, 19th century. Size: 10 1/2" high x 5 3/4" wide x 3 3/4" deep.

Set on a domed floriform base with bulbous mid section incised with flowerheads, the flaring cup cast with bands of petals with beaded rims. H. 13,5 cm.
