The connected headrest and arms run along the top of the chair, with two curving vertical panels on either side. The legs of each chair are carved with squared spiral designs. Antique Chinese bronze treasure box, decorated on its sides with an overlay of bright, colorful cloisonne lilies. The lid is adorned with a carved oval jadeite piece, carved with leaves and flowers. Chinese Northern Wei Dynasty Pottery Horse with Female Rider

This attractive model of a horse and rider was made during the Northern Wei Dynasty (AD 386 - 534). It is made from a grey pottery that has been cold painted in a creamy-white pigment on top of which have been applied other coloured pigments. Note the detail of the female rider's facial features and hairstyle.

A Mandarin square dating from the 19th century. Male back badge (buzi) with an appliqued wild goose bird denoting the 4th civil rank.

Silver and gold thread couching and embroidery in blue on dark silk ground, the sun disk is made of small coral beads. Backed with blue silk. Condition: faded, wear, splits, thin areas, lining with stains.
