This traditional antique Chinese childs top was made using a fine, deep royal blue damask silk with black silk trim. From a wealthy family, this top was padded for winter use, has all the original frog and monkey fist knot closures, and a hand embroidered rondel with lots of couching and seed stitches (aka forbidden stitch)

An old soapstone seal was in very good mood of scholar taste.

Two lions were vibrantly rendered on the top of the seal as a knob.

While well maneuvered inscriptions were on four side of the stamp.

For Chinese literati, the scholar taste was most treasured, by the meaning of the inscriptions and by the craftsmanship of the carving on the inscription.The seal obtained all these characteristics.

A six sided Nyonya bowl with three "gold" fish and sea plants for good luck. Nyonya wares are over-glaze polychrome enamelled porcelains made in Jingdezhen in the Kiangsi province of China for the Straits Chinese, or Babas, whose female counterparts are called Nyonyas, hence the term Nyonya ware. Nonya wares were mainly reserved for festive occasions and special functions. Size: 15cm. H. 5.6cm. Condition: No repairs or chips. Some wear on the inside of the bowl.

Ruby Red Overlay Glass Snuff Bottle - Aquatic Sea Life This is a fine, flattened, Pear shaped snuff bottle, with a round elongated neck, and a raise oval footing, decorated with a ruby red overlay on a snowflake ground, in relief, depicting various aquatic plant and sea life. It comes with a light green glass stopper. This snuff bottle shows signs that it was actually used as such. It still has some sort of material inside. The bottle is in great preserved condition...
