$300.00 A Chinese lady's belt made of 16 mother of pearl discs each mounted with alternate appliques of butterfly and auspicious Chinese characters. One of the two end gilt silver clasps which are decorated with enamel characters is stamped "90" followed by characters. The quality of the multicolor enamel work as seen in the butterflies, is superb. size: 70 cm long. age: C. 1900. condition: One butterfly is missing and one disc has part of the Chinese character missing.

compressed ovoid shaped body and a lotus bulb mouth.
A stunning mounted two-tone bronze dragon wraps around vase. The vase features a scrolling lotus design on a rust colored ground. Hole remains in base where it was mounted as a lamp. In excellent condition, the vase measures 11 inches high. On base 12" high. Dates circa 1930.

In the collection of the British Museum there is a cup of similar form ( it´s base as well with 5 spur marks ) that is dated to the Kangxi period, Jingdezhen ware. ( Museum Number : PDF, A. 516 )

Fine Cizhou image of boy carrying a lotus, this symbolizes the continued succession of sons. This piece is in pristine original condtion. High fired stoneware with very stable heavy glaze. H: 17.5cm/6.9in and W: 9cm/3.5in. Guaranteed to be at least Qing Dynasty but possibly Ming.

Enmeshed within an intricately reticulated profusion of dragons, clouds and rocks, the fitted lid closing to form a vessel of flattened baluster shape; all carved from stone whorled in hues of cream, sea-foam and isolated patches of apple green.

Consisting of three small ovoid reticulated plaques and a longer rectangular reticulated pendant, the stone of cloudy and apple hue, connected by a multi-link chain of vaguely art-deco style.

Finely cast, with nice details, miniature statue of bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, standing on a lotus base, his left hand holding what seems to be a gourd. Bronze, with encrusted reddish green patina, with traces of the original gilding. China, Tang Dynasty. Height: 5.6 cm. The statue is nicely mounted on a custom wood stand. Good condition.
