$800.00 Large Chinese Han dynasty (206 BC - 220 AD) iridescent green glazed tapering ovoid form burial jar decorated with a band of well moulded animal forms extending around the upper circumference of the jar. Measures 7" high x 8" diameter. The mouth and base have the typical indications of the Han firing process. Small remnants of the clay support from the kiln are visible at the lower base and at the mouth where the jar was detached from supports. Very good overall condition...

It was purchased in 1996 from Lam’s Gallery in Hong Kong.

$3,400.00 A long-necked original bronze vase with a rounded body. The top of the slender neck has a ring midway and swells out at the mouth in the shape of a garlic bulb, giving the vase its special name. It has a nice aging patina. It can be cleaned but I wouldn't recommend it.
Period: Western Han (206BC - 25AD) Size: Height = 32 cm (12.6 inches) Condition: A small dent on one side. Very good condition for its age.

$1200.00 A Chinese porcelain dish decorated with under glazed cobalt, famille verte enamel, and gilt. Kangxi period. Condition: there is a repaired 1/2" long shallow chip on the rim, please see photos #4 and #5 for the inside and outside views of the repair; there are a few other very tiny glaze flakes on the rim and have been repaired, a newer layer of gilt was applied to the rim. Diameter: 9".

$850.00 Large Western Han Dynasty (206 BC - 9 AD) hu form earthenware jar with a flaring mouth embellished with a wide raised collar. The chalky painted mineral pigment decoration on this type of jar was designed to imitate the inlaid decoration on Chinese bronze vases. According to the Metropolitan Museum, the swirling cloud-like designs covering the vessel are thought to represent celestial mists through which the deceased would travel to join the immortals. Dates circa 1st century B.C...
Depicting Heshang, the Buddhist monk. Painted wood. From Hunan province. H. 22 cm. (33 cm. with stand). Excellent condition with normal age wear.
