Tall Chinese late Qing dynasty Guangxu period baluster form floor vase decorated in underglaze blue against a faintly celadon-gray tinted white background with a phoenix bird standing on rockery among flowers. Two applied handles are at the neck. 22 3/8" high. Late 19th century. Very good overall condition. There are fine old hairline cracks to the base. From the collection of an elderly Tucson, Arizona couple.

Fragment of a relief carved in marble to represent a flying "apsara". China, Tang dynasty, 10th century. Height: 12.5 cm. The piece is nicely mounted on a custom stand. Good condition. Provenance: French auction sale 1992.

Rare Large Chinese Song / Yuan Dynasty Glazed Buddhist Zodiac Jar

This very rare pottery jar was made during the Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279), or possibly the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368) and has been been excavated from a Buddhist site in Yunnan province.

It is made from a buff-coloured pottery that has been coated in a green glaze that is very thin in places.

Around the waist of the jar have been applied twelve mouldings, the twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac...

Chinese porcelain panels decorated in underglaze cobalt blue representing lake mountainous landscapes. There are three panels.The price is for one:600$.To be sold separately or in pairs. Must have been part of a screen. Good condition except for some minor wear. Dimension approximately 161 to 166 x 500 to 504mm. I don't know the period. I think that it's not modern probably later 20th century or ealier?

3 embroidered silk panels. Birds and butterflies flying among bamboos are embroidered in colored silk on a yellow background. In the 1970s in Nice (south ofFrance), the saleswoman claimed to be the granddaughter of an imperial concubine who had been able to bring back only these 3 panels as a memory when she left China at the fall of the Qing...

Chinese Qing Period carved coconut and pewter round; coconut sections fitted together; some minor gaps present; good condition

This is an authentic nephrite bead from the Warring States period decorated on all four sides with a meandering design, bracketed by inverted "t" shapes. It measures some 3-1/4" in length and is perforated it's entire length, suitable for suspension or wearing. Some calcification is noted.

A small Chinese export porcelain foo dog done in the Sancai colors of brown, green, and yellow. The dog is standing on a pedestal with a puppy under his left foot. The figurine is marked "CHINA" on it's flat base. The dog measures about 7 3/4" x 3 3/4" x 2 1/4" wide. The condition is excellent with thickly applied enamels. The asking price includes free shipping within the USA.

Rare Chinese Eastern Han Dynasty Incised Pottery Jar

This very rare and unusual vessel was made during the latter part of the Eastern Han Dynasty (AD 25 - 220) and most likely comes from the south central region of China. It is made from a sandy-yellow high-fired pottery, almost like stoneware, and is of cylindrical form with the wide mouth tapering in. Around the shoulder are four sturdy horizontal loop handles. Rare Chinese Six Dynasties Painted Pottery Fuxi & Nuwa (AD 220 - 589)

This rare pottery model of Fuxi and Nuwa was made during the Six Dynasties period (AD 220 - 589). It is solid pottery and takes the from of a two-headed snake with two feet at each end. It has been "cold painted" with a creamy-white pigment, traces of which still remain.

Fuxi and Nuwa are, according to Chinese legend, the ancestors of human beings. They are usually depicted as a figure with human heads and snake body...

Chinese Jin Dynasty Painted Pottery Filial Piety Tile (AD 1115 - 1234)

This interesting and attractive pottery tile was made during the Jin Dynasty (AD 1115 - 1234) and most likely comes from Shanxi province. The tile is made from quite a high-fired grey pottery that has been "cold painted" in various coloured pigments. This tile depicts a scene from one of the twenty-four paragons of filial piety. Filial piety was, and still is, an important part of Chinese culture...

Heavy and solidly potted Chinese Qing dynasty baluster form porcelain jar decorated in the transitional style in underglaze blue with lotus flower heads among dense scrolling foliage set against a white ground. A border extends around the short, white glazed upright neck. The interior is fully glazed. 19th century. 12” high. Weighs 8 lbs. Very good overall condition.
